Insurance policies clearly state the terms of coverage, each party’s responsibilities, and what the insurance will cost you. However, there are number of additional factors that you should consider. People, knowledge, and experience are not easily quantified, and excluding their impact in your decision making can have grievous consequences.
Is your agent an expert in their field? Do they continually review your policies and ensure your needs are met? Is their customer service prompt and pleasant to speak with? These are a few questions to ask yourself prior to signing.
